Goal # 99 Get 7 hours of sleep per night for 2 weeks

Well, I've made it through week number 1 and I actually feel pretty good! With a little help from my droid and a little reminder app, I'm taking melatonin at about 9pm and by 11, I'm pretty much ready to go to bed. The best part is that I am actually falling asleep right away.

Yay!!

    Out of curiosity, how well does melatonin work for you? I take Valerian root when I need to sleep better, but haven't tried melatonin yet. I've heard some people say that it gives them horrific nightmares.

  2. The melatonin seems to be working quite well for me so far. Several months ago I tried taking it, but I didn't really follow the directions of taking it ahead of time. Now, I take it about 2 hours before I want to get to sleep, and I've been falling asleep within 4-5 minutes. I'm getting to bed at a more reasonable time and feeling much better when I wake up. I'm taking 8mg. Good luck if you decide to try it. I think the key is giving it time to work before you try to sleep. Let me know if/how it works for you!
